We haven't run our new pellet stove yet because it isn't cold enough, but we had an older unit at our old house that we used every winter for 7-8 months for 14 years and it was great! We would still be running that unit if we hadn't left it at our previous residence. It did require some replacement of parts- auger motors, combustion and convection blowers after a few years, but nothing that wouldn't be expected as part of regular maintenance when you run a stove that much. Parts are easy to find online and with some mechanical aptitude it was easy to replace the parts. Overall we are quite happy with the performance of our old stove and hope that our new Englander performs just as well as the old one did.
